CEC & CCSE - Election 2021 Key Dates

If you are participating in the election, the next step will be to attend Candidate Forums, held from March 15 to April 30. While attendance is not mandatory, I encourage you to attend the following forum(s) to support me in this endeavor.

This year, all forums will be held virtually.

  • CEC 1 Candidate Forum will be held Friday, 4/9/2021 at 10:00 AM.
  • CCSE Candidate Forum V will be held Tuesday, 4/20/2021 at 6:00PM.

The voting period for CEC & CCSE begins on May 1, 2021.

Hello Community, Today, I announce my candidacy for Community Education Council (CEC) for District 1 and Citywide Council for Special Education (CCSE). Dear Education Community, Tomorrow begins the voting period for Community Education Council members. For 10 days, from May 1 st to May 11 th , you will have the power to decide on key issues that affect the quality of education for your children. History in the making! For the first time, parents will have the ability to make an impact in our school community by casting their vote in the NYC DOE CCEC elections.
